Founder, Mathamatics
William King
William is a graduate of Harbor Day School, CDM High School, and UCSB where he studied math and linguistics. A tutor for 7 years, William founded AcademicAdvantageTutoring on the principle that students need to be able to prep for the class itself rather than just the material.
William is able to tutor kids as early as the fourth grade, all the way up through Calculus AB.
Biology and Chemistry
Ethan Vovan
A Sage Hill graduate, Ethan earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA, and has extensive knowledge in both chemistry and biology from 4 years of clinical experience working at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center Emergency Department. He scored a 515 (90th percentile) on the MCAT, and is applying for medical school this coming year with the goal of becoming an emergency medicine physician.
He is passionate about making knowledge more accessible, and is dedicated to setting the next generation up for success in college and beyond. He believes in the value of discussion-based learning, and enjoys the process of helping students build up their own problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Foalan Grady
Faolan is a passionate storyteller with two degrees in creative writing and 5 years of tutoring experience. His greatest desire is to provide the skills necessary for students to be able to express themselves to their fullest extent. He's driven by the thrill of seeing a student have that a-ha moment.
